Designing a casing might sound cosmetic, but it’s so much more than looks. The enclosure protects the delicate electronics, keeps everything in place, and makes the device feel like a real product instead of a science fair project.

This step is all about balancing form and function:

• Protection → shielding the circuits from the elements, drops and bumps, and curious fingers
  
  

• Practicality → making sure ports, buttons, and sensors are accessible
  
  

• Personality → giving the hardware its unique look and feel
  
  

It’s the first moment the tech starts to look alive.

For now we can get away with Practical Petunia, but soon we’ll need to produce Handsome Harry because let’s be real, this needs to look the part.
