We start this chapter with big thank yous. Thanks to Jack Hayes at Antidote who introduced us to Tom at Lumenate (the wonders of Runway East co-working!) who then very kindly snuck us into a top-secret WhatsApp group where we finally found our guy: Rob.


The devil works hard, but the network works harder.


Since July, Rob “The Maestro” Poll has been weaving his hardware magic to bring our very first working prototype to life. Better still, he has this rare gift of making electronics engineering sound fun and actually understandable.


With his help, we’ll be bringing the step-by-step build to life, as we create the Aira sensor.
