
Prototype 2: I can see the head!

Once the PCB design is locked in, it’s time to assemble the second prototype.
This is the stage where things start feeling real.
Instead of a pile of wires and test boards, you get something that actually looks and behaves like a product. The components are neatly soldered onto the custom PCB, tucked into their places, and connected in a way that feels intentional (no spaghetti this time).
It might not be the final version, but it’s a huge milestone. Suddenly you’re holding a piece of hardware that gives a glimpse of the finished thing.
This is where confidence kicks in: the idea isn’t just theoretical anymore, it’s tangible.
